Monitoring unit watches safety systems
The AWAX27XXL is a multipurpose self-monitoring unit for emergency stop systems and all types of safety switches for safety guards on dangerous machines with at least two closing contacts.
The AWAX27XXL, designed by BTI, is a multipurpose self-monitoring unit for emergency stop systems and all types of safety switches for safety guards on dangerous machines with at least two closing contacts Two independent twin-channel inputs each control four safety lines, with one input for the emergency stops and the second for the safety switches
It is protected by an electronic current-limiting circuit-breaker system, even in the event of a short circuit.
With a reaction time of 2us, this device enables immediate use of the unit as soon as the fault is removed.
In a case only45mm wide, and running from a 24V AC/DC supply, the AWAX27XXL includes eight 8A/250V safety lines, plug in terminal blocks and a DIP switch for each input for selecting secure manual or automatic resetting.
