Comitronic unveils safety operation switches

A Comitronic product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 4, 2009

The latest generation of safety switches offered by Comitronic use RFID technology to improve safety levels and operation modes.

Used to control the position of movable guard doors on machines, they are available in stand-alone mode (Amxr) or non stand-alone modes (Xorf) in connection with the Awax safety unit.

Unlike other Comitronic regular coded magnetic switches, the RFID switches can be used only with both identified receiver and transmitter, thanks to its digital coding key.

The switches are waterproof and can be submerged in up to 1m of water.

The rugged housing and cable also resist to cutting oil projections and aggressive detergents.
