Control Microsystems has released ScadaPack Vision60, the newest operator interface terminal in the ScadaPack family of high-performance RTU/PLCs.

Control Microsystems has released ScadaPack Vision60, the newest operator interface terminal in the ScadaPack family of high-performance RTU/PLCs.

The ScadaPack Vision series of operator interface terminals are compact, rugged devices that provide local display of controller process variables and allow for operator input of any control parameter.

Designed for more demanding applications, new features of the ScadaPack Vision60 include expanded screen configuration memory, increased alarm management capacity, and two multipurpose serial ports.

Each ScadaPack Vision operator interface is easy to install, user-friendly, and built to withstand conditions in remote locations and extreme environments.

The ScadaPack Vision60 is best suited for challenging applications that require a large number of display screens and data display functions, such as complex recipes and alarm sequences.

The ScadaPack Vision60 provides a four-line, 20-character LCD with 20 programmable function keys and eight programmable LED indicators.

The new unit supports up to 256 alarms.

A backlit display ensures easy reading in dim light conditions.

The user-friendly menu interface prompts for changes in data or preset functions.

A Microsoft Windows-based software application furnishes all the necessary tools for quickly configuring the unit.

With two multi-purpose serial ports, the ScadaPack Vision60 is capable of simultaneous communication with two independent ScadaPack RTUs.

These HMI devices use the Modbus protocol to communicate and are therefore also compatible with the entire range of Modbus PLCs.

The ScadaPack Vision60 features a NEMA4 faceplate for panel mounting.

For outdoor installations, a rugged, easy to install shield protects keypads from the environment, including UV rays.

A one year warranty is provided on parts and labour.

The ScadaPack Vision series is marketed and supported throughout the world by Control Microsystems' expanded support network with offices across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

The ScadaPack Vision60 operator interface terminal is available for use with all Control Microsystems' ScadaPack controllers.
