The 5913 serial to Bluetooth adapter connects directly to a ScadaPack controller's RJ45 serial port using an included 24in cable and is powered through this cable link by the ScadaPack.
The 5913 is shipped from the factory as a discoverable Bluetooth slave device and may be used with any compatible Bluetooth device, such as an internal Bluetooth transceiver on a PC or laptop computer.
The 5914 USB to Bluetooth transceiver is a Universal Serial Bus (USB) Bluetooth transceiver that adds master Bluetooth connectivity to devices such as desktop personal computers and more commonly, laptop computers, operating as a Bluetooth master when communicating with a 5913.
The product is shipped with a configuration software CD.
These products are rated for use in Electrical Equipment for Use in Class I, Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D Hazardous Locations and are CCSAUS approved.
