CMP Batteries Standby Division has recently added a substantial extension to its Nicad range of Pocket Plate batteries Friemann and Wolf, a German battery specialist who are also part of Exide, have used their proven success, having more than 110 many years of experience in the production of batteries, to develop a Fibre Plate Nicad range

This new Fibre technology offers outstanding improvement in power efficiency.

Other benefits include; virtually unlimited storage time, very high cycling ability, simple maintenance at long intervals, high recharge efficiency and faster re-charge times.

A long life of 20 years, with high and low rate versions available to provide power for all applications.

The new range complies with IEC623 and DIN EN60623.

Our proven single cell technology enables us to offer a 'tailor-made' solution to our customers.

Applications include: Generator starting, emergency lighting, switch tripping, carriage lighting for railways, plus many more where a high degree of reliability and performance is required.
