Cee-Norm UK has published a new 148-page catalogue and trade price list for 2005, covering its expanded range of industrial plugs and sockets to BS EN60309-2/BS4343;1992.

Products with current ratings of 16, 32, 63 and 125A are all included, covering voltages from 20 to 690V and frequencies up to 500Hz.

Designed for indoor or outdoor use, in environments involving contamination, mechanical stress and even chemical hazards, two levels of protection can be offered including IP44 or IP67.

The new catalogue incorporates additional technical information, ensuring that potential users can take an informed decision on the correct application of these products in areas as diverse as agriculture, building and construction, chemical and food processing, mining, power generation and even TV and filmwork.

Specialised products are also detailed for camping, reefer containers, Schuko, military standard and high current (up to 400A and 1100V) requirements.

Being included in the catalogue for the first time is a full range of the Cee Norm Quick Connect and Multi-Grip products.

These combine savings on installation and assembly times of up to 50% with higher pull-out loadings, the elimination of cable glands and strain-relief features, with greater cable range-taking and simple, positive hand closure mechanisms.

Earth monitoring units to provide protection for the operators of portable electrical equipment are also now included.

The range of standard combination units has also been extended.

These prewired products can include unswitched or switch-interlocked units with single or multi-outlets sockets incorporating optional RCD or MCB protection where required.

The company also has the facility for the production of made-to-order multi-outlet distribution units, in plastic, metal or rubber enclosures, that can be tailored to specialised requirements for a wide range of applications including the automotive; transport; storage distribution and logistics; quarrying and minerals extraction; shipbuilding and repair; emergency surfaces and general industry.
