The Hensel KV range of small type LV distribution boards and circuit breaker boxes is now available from the UK exclusive distributor Cee Norm UK.
With plenty of space for cable entry, equipment, internal wiring and overall general access to components, no one can complain about lack of "room to manoeuvre" when using the Hensel KV range of small type LV distribution boards/circuit breaker boxes, now available from the UK exclusive distributor Cee Norm UK.
However, space is just one of the many product benefits offered by the KV range.
Another is the use of V2A screws featuring metric quick fastening threads that cut installation times by two-thirds, while cable entry with integrated elastic membranes, an incorporated compartment for accessories, together with a large area allocated for circuit labelling ensures installers, specifiers and stockists get optimum value for money from a high specification product.
KV units also feature Hensel's new innovative FixConnect terminal technology instead of N and PE terminal bars.
All products are manufactured from high quality thermoplastic (colour RAL 7035 - grey).
Items currently available from stock in the KV range are all IP65 compliant, fully protected against the ingress of dust, and even low pressure water jets, compatible with wash-down procedures.
As an alternative to cable entry with integrated elastic membranes, these KV units can also be supplied with metric knockouts for cable entry, with connecting glands available if required.
All models have an insulation voltage rating of 400Vac and come with cable entry cover and transparent lid/door.
All units are designed for use with 18mm wide rail mounted protection device modules (RCD, MCB etc).
Models that can accommodate three to nine modules feature protective covers which can be simply broken out to suit the equipment being housed.
Cover strips, however, are used for DIN-rail equipment openings for larger boxes accommodating 12-54 modules.
Other products also available to order include circuit breaker boxes with lower protection ratings including IP40, IP41 and IP54.
larger boxes can also be supplied to accommodate additional electrical devices that are not manually actuated.
Cable entry with integrated membranes for conduit can also be supplied for some models, together with three box sizes manufactured from thermoplastics where a white (colour RAL 9016) enclosure is required.
Empty boxes and boxes for kilowatt-hour meter installation can also be supplied.
