Cyon Research Corporation and Architosh have joined forces to produce a major industry report on the reality of AutoCAD on the Macintosh platform.

The report uses survey, petition and market data collected by Architosh over 3 years, from thousands of readers, and research by Cyon Research Corporation.

The report studies the quantitative and qualitative effects that may occur should AutoCAD be ported to the Macintosh platform.

"With OS X, Apple became the largest supplier of Unix computers almost overnight", stated Brad Holtz, President and CEO, Cyon Research Corporation.

"This has made the Macintosh platform, with its engaging user interface, more attractive to engineering professionals than ever before".

"We started the petition 3 years ago at the request of Macintosh users", says Architosh.com Editor and Founder, Anthony Frausto-Robledo, "To date we have collected thousands of detailed responses.

Our readers have been quite passionate and vocal in their drive to bring AutoCAD back to the Macintosh platform".

The report, "The market for AutoCAD on the Macintosh OS X platform" is expected to be available in June 2003.

Pricing and availability will be announced at the time of final publication.
