COFES 2004, the Congress On the Future of Engineering Software, opened to record attendance for the second year running.

COFES 2004, the Congress On the Future of Engineering Software, opened to record attendance for the second year running.

COFES 2004 was held at Scottsdale Plaza Resort, in Arizona from 1st to 4th April, and is the industry's only annual think tank event, bringing executives from design, engineering, architectural, development, and technology companies together to better understand the role engineering technology will play in the future survival and success of their business.

"The tremendous demand for COFES this year reinforces the industry's need to still communicate face-to-face even in a world of Internet and e-mail communications", stated Brad Holtz, President and CEO, Cyon Research.

"COFES 2004 almost sold out of attendee space.

This is a great indicator that there are economic and market improvements that are positive for everyone in the industry".
