COFES2005: The Congress on the Future of Engineering Software will take place at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, Scottsdale, Arizona, from 14th to 17th April 2005.

COFES2005, the 6th annual COFES, brings together executives from design, engineering, architectural, development, and technology companies together to explore engineering technology and the role it will play in the survival and success of their business.

The focus is on software tools for engineers and designers that will become available in the next one to six years.

Hewlett Packard will once again be the title sponsor of COFES, for the third consecutive year.

COFES is a unique event, providing a venue for open discussion and debate among industry participants without distractions.

Ken Versprille, PhD, Partner and PLM Research Director, CPDA, attended his first COFES at the 2004 event.

"COFES is a unique experience - a relaxed environment to meet with the key technical strategists from the CAD PLM vendor community, industry analysts, and leading-edge end users and brainstorm on the directions and technology innovation of the future", he said.

"COFES has proved its value by offering senior executives, analysts, press, vendors, and users an exclusive venue designed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing", said Brad Holtz, President and CEO, Cyon Research Corp.

"The COFES experience is unique".

"Many attendees have expressed surprise at the value provided and the openness of the discussions at such high level".

"At their suggestion we are adding a pre-event session to explain to first-timers how to get the most out of COFES".

COFES2005 offers a wide variety of discussion topics in MCAD, AEC, GIS and other technology areas.

COFES is an exclusive, invitation-only event with attendance limited to 250.
