The book criticises the short shrift software engineers have traditionally given human-computer interfaces, and details his commentary on how computer-based products can be designed to match human intuition.
"His insight into how people use computers is illuminating", said Joel Orr, Cyon Research's Chief Visionary.
"Everyone at Cofes - product designers, software vendors, architects and others - will learn from what he has to say".
This year, Cofes enjoyed support by sponsors and technology suite participants, who use the event as an opportunity to conduct private meetings, build business and establish contacts across the entire industry.
Major sponsors include Microsoft, UGS, Spatial and Autodesk.
Technology suite vendors include Adobe, Apple, Dassault Systemes and PTC.
New technology suite vendors this year are Cubiceye, Infinite Z, Kubotek, Mathsoft and Software Innovation.
"The Cofes event provides a unique forum for the CADCAM industry to channel our competitive instincts into better engineering for customers", said Robert Bean, Kubotek USA's Chief Operating Officer.
"Kubotek USA can speak from experience that many strategic relationships have been hatched at Cofes".
Cadwire.net's daily commentaries and updates as well as Cofes web logs will report on the proceedings over the next week.
