Cyon Research Corporation, host of the Congress on the Future of Engineering Software (COFES), has opened registration for next year's event, COFES 2007.

The premiere conference of the CAD world will take place from 12th to 15th April 2007 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Last year, more than 260 delegates, including software company executives, engineers, programmers, consultants, and press, attended the intimate and innovative 3-day industry discussion.

Registration for COFES 2007 is available by invitation only, according to Cyon Research CEO Brad Holtz.

Those wishing to attend can apply for an invitation via the Cyon website.

Early registration closes on 1st November 2006.

"The COFES event provides a unique forum for the CAD/CAM industry to channel our competitive instincts into better engineering solutions for customers", said Robert Bean, Kubotek USA's Chief Operating Officer.

"Kubotek USA can speak from experience that many strategic relationships have been hatched at COFES".

"COFES 2006 experienced record attendance, and was the most impressive event yet", said Holtz.

"We expect continued enthusiasm for the conference in 2007 among sponsors and delegates".
