Dr Henke has held consecutive corporate executive positions at Mentor Graphics Corporation (VP and GM), Automation Technology Products (Chairman and CEO), Gould Electronics (President and General Manager), Schlumberger Applicon (Executive Vice President), and SDRC (President and COO).
He has served on the boards of Directors of SDRC, PDA, MacNeal Schwendler, ATP, SME and Stottler-Henke Associates.
Dr Henke began his career in the machine tool training programme at the Cincinnati Milling Machine Company and simultaneously earned ME, MS, and PhD degrees at the University of Cincinnati.

In 1989, Dr Henke received a Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Cincinnati.
A member of ASME, IEEE, and the SME, he was elected an SME Fellow in Class of 2000, one of only 225 Fellows in SME's entire history.
The SME membership also elected him as an International SME Director in 2001.
Dr Henke received an award for Professional Leadership from the IEEE in 2002, and was elected an ASME International Fellow in 2003.
Last April, Dr Henke was awarded the 2006 CAD Society Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the CAD industry.
