System integrator focuses on robotic vision

Cognex Corp has entered into a system integrator (SI) agreement with Aylesbury Automation.

Aylesbury Automation is a major supplier of flexible automation.

AA Robotics, a division of Aylesbury Automation, is a major supplier of robotic systems.

This agreement aims to promote automated solutions equipped with vision systems using Cognex products.

Declan O'Dea, District Manager for Cognex UK said: "We are very pleased to be working with Aylesbury Automation and AA Robotics".

"I believe that their excellent pedigree in the automation industry and proven expertise in providing successful robotic and vision solutions will help further Cognex's penetration of the growing (VGR) vision guided robotic market in the UK".

Machine vision is used in a growing number of robotic applications and allows businesses of all sizes to achieve significant increased productivity, making them more competitive on their markets.
