To ensure the company meets customer needs and expectations right from the start, Cloostermans adopted OneSpace Live!, an online meeting tool for design reviews.
The company investigated other collaboration software, but chose the CoCreate solution because it offered a stand-alone and cost-effective application with engineering focus.
"We can share graphics-intensive data and applications with customers and suppliers in a simple, fast and secure way", said Cloostermans.
With OneSpace Live!, project members and customers anywhere can view models and other data online with the tool's application-sharing function.
This function is built specifically for engineers; it can work with large graphic files without bogging down.
"We use online meetings to review our designs with all stakeholders involved", said Cloostermans.
Reviewers can change designs during the meeting so that results appear quickly and decisions are made while everybody is present.
Decisions and tasks can be captured in meeting notes.
And thanks to the OneSpace Live! integration into Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes, all tasks appear in individuals' calendars.
