Kyocera Mita, one of the world's largest high-tech manufacturers of office document solutions, has switched to CoCreate's 3D CAD, OneSpace Designer Modeling.
Usage is expanding across multiple development projects as CoCreate's 3D system is promoted for company-wide use.
Kyocera Mita had formerly implemented 3D product design with a history-based 3D CAD tool.
However, Kyocera Mita has now switched to OneSpace Designer Modeling to achieve the following benefits: build a design environment capable of handling larger assemblies and execute design validation much more quickly; establish design for manufacturability (DFM) throughout development, including considerations for mould design; and front-load design in order to speed processes downstream of product development.
CoCreate's dynamic modelling based approach to 3D design offers ease of use while enabling fast and flexible response to unexpected changes throughout product development.
