Colder Products Company (CPC) is pleased to announce the ChemQuik CQN08 Series quick disconnect couplings for high flow, ultra-pure aggressive chemical fluid applications.

These couplings feature a patented non-spill design allowing safe, instant line disconnects and a metal-free, spring-free flow path for smooth, unrestricted flow.

They provide an economical solution for minimizing downtime and reducing total maintenance costs in chemical process systems thus increasing yield and operator safety.

The CQN08 couplings are made of ultra-pure virgin PTFE and Chemraz* seals, which minimizes extractable contaminants and makes them ideal for most wet process chemicals found in semiconductor, pharmaceutical and laboratory applications.

These couplings provide instant flow shut-off upon disconnection.

Chemraz seals provide a high degree of chemical compatibility and meet industry ultra-pure standards-no contaminating lubricants are used.

The couplings are manufactured in a controlled environment and double-bagged in Class 100 anti-static clean room bags.

Their high efficiency, low turbulence flow path design results in an industry leading Cv range of 7.3 (double-sided shut-off version) to 9.4 (single-sided shut-off), all in an extremely compact package size, yielding a capacity of 40+ gpm (with water).

The CQN08 couplings are ideal for ultra-pure chemical bulk transfer applications including drums, IBC (totes), tanker connections and many other specialized applications.

CQN08 couplings are designed to operate within a pressure range of 0 to 80 psig, and a fluid temperature range of 0øF to 150degF.

For maximum design flexibility, the CQN08 couplings are available in panel mount and in-line configurations.

Integral flare style and NPT terminations for connection to PFA, FEP and other semi-rigid tubing.

Large flare connections for 1" and 3/4" lines and 3/4" male or female threads are standard, many custom options are available.

As with all CPC couplings, the CQN08 couplings feature a push-button thumb latch to facilitate easy one-handed operation and an audible "click" to confirm a secure, leak-free connection.

Color coding and a 64+ line keying system are available to identify critical flow lines and prevent accidental connections.
