Colder Products Company has introduced the SMF1 Series Couplings, designed as a high quality alternative to luer-type connections for high volume, disposable medical applications.

The SMF1 couplings are suitable for a broad range of applications such as blood pressure cuffs, surgical equipment, blood analyzers, tube sets, analytical instrumentation and more.

The economical SMF1 features 1/8" and 5 mm hose barbs for easy, leak-free connection with popular tubing sizes.

Constructed of ABS material, it meets gamma sterilizability requirements and its non-luer design meets BS EN 1060-3 requirements for sphygmomanometers.

A unique design feature of the SMF1 is free coupling rotation with its mating inserts, which allows the connected tubing to swivel, preventing kinked tubing and accidental disconnects.

The SMF1's small profile streamlines applications and it mates with a variety of existing CPC inserts, providing a variety of connection options, including sizes, materials and mounting styles.

SMF1 couplings operate within a pressure range of vacuum to 100 psi and a temperature range of -40F (-40C) to 160F (71C).

The SMF1 couplings feature a twist-to-lock connection with an audible "click" to confirm a secure, leak-free connection.
