Safer fluid dispensing for rigid containers

A Colder Products product story

DrumQuik Modular is the latest chemical dispensing system from Colder Products Company (CPC).

DrumQuik Modular is the latest chemical dispensing system from Colder Products Company (CPC).

The DrumQuik serves as a standard interface between any ChemQuik coupling or fitting and rigid containers such as bottles, drums and IBCs.

It enables the easy, safe, and reliable connection of liquid lines for the spill- and fume-free extraction of aggressive chemicals.

"We saw the need for a standard, flexible dip-tube system that expands options for operators who handle bulk fluids", said Thomas Braun, Business Manager, Chemical Handling Products, CPC.

"DrumQuik enables convenient assembly and servicing while meeting the safety demands of a variety of fluid-handling applications".

Available with short lead times, the new DrumQuik can be cost-effectively implemented on any rigid container that has a standard opening or 2in buttress bung thread.

For high-purity chemical handling applications, operators can thread CPC ChemQuik Series couplings into the DrumQuik.

For less demanding applications, CPC's nonspill NSH and HFC-12 Series connections or common flare and compression fittings can be used.

When coupled with a CPC coupling insert and body, the DrumQuik dip-tube interface functions as a highly efficient fluid connection system.

Shutoff valves on CPC couplings enable the complete containment of aggressive chemicals and protect technicians from harmful chemical contact.

Operators benefit from high flow capacities and the ability to connect and disconnect at a constant force, even when the system is under pressure.

The DrumQuik is available in a variety of dip-tube lengths and seal packages.

A 0.75in female NPT liquid port and a 0.375in female NPT vent port allow for easy connection to couplings or fittings.
