Colder Products Company (CPC) has introduced a high-flow terminations to its NSH Series non-spill coupling for up to 19.0mm inner diameter tubing.

Colder Products Company (CPC) has introduced a high-flow terminations to its NSH Series non-spill coupling for up to 19.0mm inner diameter tubing.

The NSH coupling series increases the speed, safety and economics of tubing connections.

It also provides a lightweight, durable and economical replacement for expensive metal non-spill couplings, ball valves, and spill-prone fittings.

The NSH extends the value and return on investment of critical fluid systems said CPC.

The NSH is claimed to improve safety, eliminate costly spillage and reduce downtime costs.

With a capacity of 3.0 Cv, the NSH facilitates high flow and low turbulence in a compact package.

Its all-plastic flow path is suitable for high-flow chemical handling and fluid media applications, such as chemical delivery systems, battery filling, waste drain lines, industrial laundry, ink management and fuel cells.

Based on CPC's Chemquik Series high purity couplings, the NSH is pressure-balanced and enables fluid lines to be instantly disconnected under pressure, virtually eliminating the opportunity for hazardous spills claimed CPC.

The male NPT termination also enables the compatibility of the NSH with the Drumquik modular chemical dispense system for rigid containers.

NSH incorporates CPC's thumb latch to allow for secure, single-handed operation.

An audible click confirms that a secure connection is made.

The NSH Series' integral termination fittings eliminate the potential leak path associated with typical couplings, as well as the additional cost and assembly typically required with these components.

A field installed panel mount adapter accessory is also available that can be used to turn any coupling body (socket) or insert (plug) into a sealing bulkhead without requiring additional inventory.

The NSH connections are claimed to withstand operating pressures from vacuum to 120 psig (8.3 bar) and temperatures from 32 degrees F to 120 degrees F (0 degrees C to 49 degrees C).

Mounting options include in-line, pipe thread and sealing panel mount.

Colder Products' quality system is ISO 9001-certified and it claimed that its couplings have demonstrated repeatable, leak-free performance.
