Now available from Cooper Lighting and Security is a stylish new range of Menvier gold or chrome finished exit signs, which have been designed to offer an elegant solution for emergency lighting requirements in prestigious locations.

Known as Safe Edge and Recessed Safe Edge, these illuminated signs have a viewing distance of 27m, ensuring that clear direction is provided in an emergency situation.

Safe Edge is a compact luminaire that can be mounted at any angle.

It is easy to install on either walls or ceilings and can be used in maintained or non-maintained mode.

Recessed Safe Edge operates in maintained mode and is suitable for mounting into solid or suspended ceilings.

Also designed with ease of installation in mind, it features a separate baseplate, to which the body of the luminaire is attached after the supply cables have been connected.

Both luminaires fully comply with the minimum luminance and uniformity requirements of the BS5266 Pt 7 standard, providing a minimum of 3 hours illumination from a 300mm 8W fluorescent lamp in the event of mains failure.

Slave luminaire versions are also available.
