Opportunities and challenges for valve suppliers
The worldwide control valve market reached US $4.8 billion in 2007 and is predicted to exceed $6.4 billion in 2012.
The visiting traffic has doubled since July 2001, with the most popular pages receiving in excess of 18,000 hits per month.
Both engineers and suppliers comment on the effectiveness and usefulness of the site, and keep revisiting.
Within the site are sections for where to buy, the latest new product information and catalogues, magazines to read, how sensors work, how they are used in applications, which exhibitions, conferences and training courses to attend, together with a library of books to consult.
For rapid and intensive use, the site also has a Quick Links page giving direct access to over a hundred company websites, and a search facility to hunt out a particular product or application.
