Encouraging more women into science and engineering has been a concern in the UK for many years.
Encouraging more women into science and engineering has been a concern in the UK for many years Professor Monique Frize from Carleton University in Canada will be visiting Coventry University on Wednesday 15th October 2003 to provide an insight into the problem and offering potential strategies to increase the numbers of women in these fields
Admission to the lecture is free and is open to the public.
The lecture will be of interest to parents, educators, recruitment specialists and, of course, women.
Professor Frize will discuss opportunities for girls and women considering a career in science and engineering and providing strategies to increase the level of participation in these disciplines.
The lecture will take place at 1800 BST on Wednesday 15th October 2003 in the Alan Berry Lecture Theatre, Coventry University.
Visitors must register their attendance in advance.
