Sykes seeks compressed air market lead

CompAir has appointed Jeremy Sykes as Managing Director for UK and Ireland.

CompAir has appointed Jeremy Sykes as Managing Director for UK and Ireland.

An engineer by training, Sykes brings with him a broad industrial, engineering and management experience.

He will drive CompAir's strategic growth and development to make the company the number one provider of compressed air and gas systems in the UK and Ireland.

Based at CompAir's UK headquarters in Redditch, Sykes, who started his career with Lucas Industries, has held a number of senior management roles across Europe and the USA with TI Group, Dowty, John Crane and Glynwed.

Speaking of his decision to join the CompAir team, Sykes said: "CompAir is a company with a great heritage and outstanding products".
