CompAir has expanded its range by signing an exclusive deal to become the sole authorised distributor and service provider in the UK for Cooper-Cameron oil-free turbo compressors.
In response to high demand from UK industry for larger compressors, CompAir has expanded its range by signing an exclusive deal to become the sole authorised distributor and service provider in the UK for Cooper-Cameron oil-free turbo compressors.
Cooper-Cameron, based in the USA, manufactures turbo compressors with outputs up to 2250m3/min, ideal for large-scale applications in a range of industries where high volumes of oil free air are demanded, including petrochemicals, power generation, pharmaceuticals and nitrogen generation.
Through this exclusive distribution arrangement, CompAir customers now have access to the UK's most extensive choice of oil free compressors.
Turbo compressors are a major cap-ex purchase and often work as the baseload machine for large plants.
They are sometimes used in conjunction with CompAir's variable speed drive screw compressors which offer outputs between 15-275kW in the oil-free range, and match output to demand to ensure maximum energy efficiency, a key boardroom topic today.
Customers can also benefit from CompAir's range of AirCover service contracts so that servicing costs are known up-front.
There is also the potential to build in upgrades to controls and indications so customers can benefit from technological developments and increase the lifespan of the machine.
CompAir holds genuine Cooper-Cameron spare parts in stock in the UK and has a nationwide team of Cooper-Cameron factory trained engineers to deliver a fast and responsive maintenance service.

Cooper-Cameron's turbo compressors are built to be tough and reliable, offering years of trouble-free service.
All air and oil filters and seal gas elements can be easily replaced and there are no wearing parts that require regular replacement.
The compressors are simple to install with few external connections and the aftercooler, controls, motor, lubrication system and cooling water manifold are ready to go in a complete package.
