Early payback for compressor upgrade
Projected savings of GBP 15,000 per annum in energy costs have proved to be a compelling argument for shower manufacturer Kohler Mira in its choice of replacement compressors.
Compressors pave the way for energy savings
A major review of energy usage has led Marshalls to nominate compressor manufacturer CompAir as its preferred supplier.
Bob Cheshire, Managing Director of Hydrovane, said: "Our vertical approach allows us to directly couple the compressor and electric motor, reduce the footprint and reduce noise levels".
"This means the compressor can be comfortably sited right next to the point of use of the air, without a need for ear protection and the HV11RS is no exception".
"The HV11RS is equipped with our reduced energy venting system (REVS) technology - further testament to our concentration on designing high-performance, energy efficient machines".
"REVS keeps off load power consumed to a minimum, allowing instant re-start at any pressure and offers a reduced load start".
An electronic controller operates the newest addition to the Hydrovane range.
The illuminated control panel displays air pressure and compressor temperature and allows users to easily adjust operational settings.
It also has a "service due" indicator, which automatically counts down to the next service date, based on the real usage of the machine.
Its hinged doors offers easy access to all serviceable compressor components.
The new compressor is available in three Hypac versions: the Acer with receiver, the Aced with refrigerant dryer and filtration and Aerd with receiver, refrigerant dryer and filtration.
