As well as committing to the seven members of staff currently employed at the company, both local and national customers can also be reassured that all extended warranties will be honoured.

Formed more than 50 years ago, Marshall Branson has developed an enviable reputation in the sale and service of CompAir, Hydrovane and Broomwade compressors throughout the North East.

According to Jeremy Sykes, Managing Director of CompAir UK and Ireland: "This is a logical acquisition for CompAir, as before Economatics bought the business eight years ago, Marshall Branson was associated with Broomwade and then CompAir for in excess of 25 years".

"We intend to ensure that Marshall Branson's customers continue to receive the same excellent advice and support for all compressor brands that they're used to and that CompAir and Hydrovane compressors continue to be supplied".

"CompAir's compressor offering spans a wide range of screw and rotary vane compressor technology, including the highly popular speed regulated models, which always achieve optimum energy efficiency".

"Marshall Branson will also continue to offer free energy audits to ascertain a plant's energy usage and identify the most efficient compressor configuration".
