Compressors handle huge exhibition venue
Hydrovane machines do not require an air receiver, which means their footprint is reduced.
When a major venue in the heart of England was looking to offer compressed air as a utility service to exhibitors, Hydrovane distributor Midland Fluid Power recommended two Hydrovane HV15 compressors to fulfil the task The Ricoh Arena's Jaguar exhibition hall has been designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding exhibitor, making low noise level, air output and compact design, key requirements for the compressors

Early payback for compressor upgrade
Projected savings of GBP 15,000 per annum in energy costs have proved to be a compelling argument for shower manufacturer Kohler Mira in its choice of replacement compressors.
Compressors pave the way for energy savings
A major review of energy usage has led Marshalls to nominate compressor manufacturer CompAir as its preferred supplier.
Underfloor utilities including gas, electricity, telephones and fibre optics are brought into the Jaguar exhibition room via and underfloor subway.
The Hydrovane compressors have been located at either end of this subway to ensure there is adequate coverage for exhibitors needing compressed air.
Peter Wilson, owner of Midlands Fluid Power, explains: "The Ricoh Arena holds a number of major events, including engineering-based exhibitions, with companies requiring compressed air to demonstrate equipment such as air tools, air motors and cylinders and valves on their stand." "The two Hydrovane compressors has enabled them to offer an additional service to event organisers".
"The reason we opted for the Hydrovane machines is because they do not require an air receiver, which means their footprint is reduced".
"They are also extremely quiet and, as they are located under the floor of the exhibition hall itself, we didn't want visitors above able to hear any operational noise".
The HV15 features CompAir's reduced energy venting system (REVS) technology which keeps off load power consumption to a minimum.
The compressors are operated by a electronic controller.
The illuminated control panel displays air pressure and compressor temperature and allows users to easily adjust operational settings.
It also has a 'service due' indicator which automatically counts down to the next service date, based on the real usage of the machine.
The Hydrovane vertical compressors come with an extended warranty programme that covers the machine for either 48,000 hours or 10 years, whichever comes first.
There is an additional lifetime guarantee for the compressor blades.
