Components Direct, the supplier of fastening and fixing components, has launched a web site with constantly updated product details at www.comdir.co.uk.

The company specialises in providing a fast and efficient service to small and medium size manufacturing companies.

It provides a huge range of fastening and fixing components to industrial manufacturers.

It also supplies a large range of adhesives.

Because the web site is of a 'database' design, it means that the site can be updated in real time.

Customers will be able to select products by category or via the site's own search engine.

Comprehensive product and price information is available in addition to technical drawings and product photographs for reference.

All orders placed before 4pm will be despatched the same day for next day delivery.

The web site will complement the existing product catalogue with the added benefit of being 'up to the minute'.

Commenting on the new site, John Cunningham, General Manager said, " A lot of suppliers are geared up to serve big companies that place large and frequent orders.

We have grown rapidly by providing the same efficient service to those companies that are not ordering components on a regular basis as our large, frequent customers.

With no minimum order and no necessity to set up a credit account, customers can find a product, get specification details and have delivery the next day without even having to pick up the phone.

A 328 page catalogue is also available, free of charge.
