The new Digistant 4462 precision calibration source for voltage, current and thermocouple applications from Cropico has been designed to combine low drift and noise with high long-term stability and accuracy to provide maximum security of calibration.

This 'affordable' instrument supplies a range of +/-52mA current and +/-30V voltage, with a basic accuracy of 0.005% to meet 'last digit' application demands, plus simulation of all conventional thermocouples by an external reference junction.

Ramps, delta +/- function and multiple setpoint storage ensure ease of use.

Multiple functionality provides calibration of measuring and control products in the field or process plant, open loop controls, laboratory or R and D referencing and semiconductor testing.

The Digistant can be used both as a stand-alone tabletop device and in automatic manufacturing or testing systems, as it can be operated via an RS232 or IEEE interface.

Output value is fed back via the sensor line to eliminate voltage drops across the measuring leads and the source value is indicated on a large illuminated graphics LCD.
