8-decade model joins resistance decade box range

A Cropico product story

An 8-decade model has been added to Cropico's resistance decade boxes, which provide high accuracy of 0.01% over the wide range of 1 to 11 micro-ohms and long-term stability of up to +/-20ppm/year.

An 8-decade model has been added to the Cropico range of resistance decade boxes, which provide precise resistance thermometer simulation due to their high accuracy of 0.01% over the wide range of 0.001 ohm to 11 micro-ohms and long-term stability of up to +/- 20ppm per year.

Resolution as low as 0.001 ohms (about equal to 0.0025 degC) also gives particular suitability for Pt100 simulation.

Now offered with 5, 6 or 8 decades, the boxes have gold-plated contacts ensuring low contact resistance and negligible thermal emf.

Compact and light in weight yet robust, their aluminium welded corners are sealed to prevent ingress of contaminants.

A special air-cushion winding technique gives virtually 'stressless' elements for improved performance.
