A wide range of 1uW to 200kW is measured by the Cropico DO6 digital microhmmeter, which has been updated to be a comprehensive instrument incorporating many special features as standard.

These include manual and automatic range selection, temperature compensation for copper as well as brass, and voltage limiting to 20mV for measuring switch contact resistance to International Standards.

An RS232 serial interface gives full talk/listen capability, which simplifies adding the instrument to an automated measuring system.

Hi/Lo limits may be set over the interface with voltage-free contacts being available on the rear panel.

True 4-wire measurement eliminates lead resistance errors and there is thermal emf compensation, plus auto-zero of amplifiers and external circuits.

Inductive circuits such as motor windings can be measured by initiating a special protection circuit avoiding any problems due to induced high voltage.
