The Cropico DO5000 'new generation' microhmmeter represents a significant breakthrough in test instrument design, encompassing all the features ever required of an ohmmeter in one single tester.

The DO5000 gives users a new and unique versatility by combining the highest ever level of measurement flexibility with the exceptional accuracy of 0.03%, over the wide range of 0.1microhms to 30kilohms Programmable measuring current 10% to 100% in 100 steps with 10A maximum ensures that this digital microhmmeter is suitable for virtually all applications.

It is ideal for laboratory or production line testing and measurement on electrical motors, cables, switches, relays and connection resistance, etc.

The DO5000 is also available with a FAST operating mode of 50 measurements per second for applications where speed is important, such as on production lines.

The instrument can also be remotely controlled and integrated into an automatic testing system via RS232/IEEE-488 or PLC interfaces.

Other notable standard features include automatic temperature compensation from 0C to +100C, programmable Hi/Lo limits with LED indication or optional relay contacts, and data logging for statistical analysis with up to 4000 readings stored with the date and time.

It works in 4-wire mode (Kelvin method) which cancels any lead resistance errors inherent in less sophisticated 2-wire systems.

Range selection is automatic or manual and a front panel menu allows a range of reading speed rates to be programmed.

Outstanding overall built-in versatility enables the DO5000 microhmmeter to adapt to every type of application requirement.

A wide range of accessories is also available along with a calibration kit.
