Resistance decade boxes have higher accuracy and stability.

New high-performance capability of Cropico models 005-B and 006-A resistance decade boxes combines an accuracy of 0.01 % with long-term stability of +/-20ppm per year, for precise resistance thermometer simulation.

Also featuring low temperature co-efficient of +/-3ppm/C to +85C plus negligible thermal emfs and essentially non-measurable noise, these compact and lightweight boxes are aluminium with welded corners, sealed to prevent ingress of contaminants.

Suitable for Pt100 simulation and proof tested at 1 kV, the two models offer 5 or 6 decades with total resistance of 1,112.10 or 1,112.11 ohms and resolution of 0.01 or 0.001 ohm and 0.025 or 0.0025øC respectively.

They have gold-plated brass switch contacts and solid copper gold-plated terminals accepting spade tags and 4mm banana plugs.

An exclusive `air cushion' winding technique provides virtually stressless elements for improved performance.".
