Guide to temperature measurement
Cropico has published a new guide on temperature measurement, explaining some of the common causes of error and how to avoid them.
Built-in rechargeable battery and charging circuit enables portable operation for up to 15 hours on one charge.
Principal application benefits of these battery/mains instruments include high accuracy and repeatability combined with a rugged aluminium case and the ability to work in temperatures down to -10°C.
Input terminal protection up to 415V RMS, digital calibration and long scale length 4000 count were additional benefits.
Four-wire measurement eliminates lead resistance errors and the instruments have open circuit lead warning.
There are six pushbutton ranges from 40 mohm to 4000 ohms, with resolution from 10 microhm on the 40 mohm range to 1 ohm on the 4000 ohm range.
Typical applications include resistance measurement of motor and generator windings, bonding tests and measurement of electrical joints and connectors. Request a free brochure from Cropico ...
