A greatly extended choice of attachment options, and the addition of 1" pitch products to the standard range, mean that Cross and Morse's popular attachment chains now offer an even wider range of versatile and cost-effective solutions for mechanical handling applications.
Available in bent and straight versions, the new attachments include standard two-hole versions, and blank plates which can be converted quickly to meet the customer's precise requirements.
To ensure fast delivery - typically within three days of an order being received - Cross and Morse holds large stocks of attachments ready for immediate assembly in chain of the company's own manufacture.
Speedy availability, and the wide range of options, makes these chains a particularly attractive choice for refurbishment and maintenance projects, as well as for the design of new equipment.
The new attachments, and the custom-manufactured attachments which Cross and Morse designs and produces to meet specialised requirements which cannot readily be satisfied by standard products, complement the existing single-hole attachment range.
Cross and Morse attachment chains are based on the company's own high-quality British Standard roller chains with pitches of 1/2", 3/4" and 1".
Attachments can be fitted to one or both sides of the chain and, for optimum design versatility, different types of attachment can be incorporated in a single chain assembly.
Attachment products are complemented by special flat-top conveying chains which have a rubber-backed U-shaped attachment fitted to every outer link, and foil conveying chains which have been specially designed to transport metal foil, plastic film and paper.
Cross and Morse's extensive range of specialised chains also includes extended-pin, hollow-pin and accumulator chains, all of which find a wide variety of applications in the mechanical handling field.
