To support and enhance its already successful business expansion programme, Cross and Morse, has appointed Kevin O'Connor to head up the company's external sales operations throughout the UK
To support and enhance its already successful business expansion programme, power transmission expert, Cross and Morse, has appointed Kevin O'Connor to head up the company's external sales operations throughout the UK.
O'Connor, who was previously Cross and Morse's southern regional sales manager, brings a wide range of experience to his new role, having worked in the power transmission industry continuously for more than 25 years.
"The Cross and Morse name is already well known and respected," said O'Connor, commenting on his appointment.
"Where we have been less successful, however, is in communicating the full extent of the range of products and services we offer.
We have, for example, one of the fastest and most efficient re-working services in the UK, and our expertise in designing and manufacturing money-saving custom solutions is unrivalled." "I'll be ensuring that existing and potential customers are fully informed about the benefits of these services," continued O'Connor, " and I'm totally confident that this will allow us to make further significant increases in our market share, building on the strong growth which we've already seen in recent months." O'Connor's previous experience includes operations, service centre and logistics management, as well as internal and external sales roles, all within the power transmission industry.
He joined Cross and Morse in 1994 as a field sales engineer, and was promoted to become southern regional sales manager in 1997.
His most recent promotion recognises the success of his innovative and dynamic approach to sales and sales management, and his confidence in the future of the manufacturing industry within the UK.
