Power transmission specialist Cross + Morse has gained BS EN ISO9001:2000 relating to its quality of management in the manufacture of power transmission equipment for industry.

Power transmission specialist Cross + Morse has gained BS EN ISO9001:2000 relating to its quality of management in the manufacture of power transmission equipment for industry.

To gain this latest level of quality recognition the company, which has manufactured in Birmingham for over 130 years, was required to meet stringent measures and controls in all areas of management and manufacturing procedures.

Says Michael Harris, Managing Director, Cross + Morse: "Many of our European manufacturing competitors have not, as yet, gained this latest level of certification".

"Considerable effort and implementation of the highest levels of quality procedures were required to attain this recognition by Cross + Morse".

"Our personnel, at the manufacturing centre in Great Barr realise the importance such quality recognition provides us and the advantage provided in marketing our range of power transmission products, worldwide".
