Crane Electronics, a world leader in torque control and management technology, has established a new calibration laboratory in the Czech Republic.

It is being run by its local distributor MIDKO and headed by Mr Thomas Mitlener.

Located in Lazne Belohrad, about one hour from Prague, the temperature- controlled laboratory has two calibration rigs (30 and 300 Nm).

It provides for the re-calibration and service of torque transducers and indicators as well as the servicing of fastening equipment and tools.

The ISO 90001 laboratory will provide a quicker and more accessible service to Crane's 500+ customers throughout the Czech Republic and obviate the need to return tools to the UK for re-calibration.
