Crane Electronics' new TommyWrench range of torque tools comprising dial wrenches, micrometer adjustable wrenches, pre-set production wrenches, screwdrivers, torque testers and multipliers

Crane Electronics has introduced the TommyWrench range of torque tools for the vehicle bodyshop comprising dial wrenches, micrometer adjustable wrenches, pre-set production wrenches, screwdrivers, torque testers and torque multipliers.

TommyWrench has been launched to complement Crane's existing range of high quality torque measurement products and provide cost effective solutions for customers looking for functional and reliable tooling.

The range of dial wrenches embraces some fifteen different versions covering a torque range up to 1400 NM and an accuracy to within 3% of the measurement.

Dial type torque wrenches feature a torsion beam design to provide long life and accuracy as well as being point of load insensitive.

The operator may elect to preset the torque value on the dial face and during operation when the pointer needle of the wrench makes the contact with pre-set contact needle, an LED illuminates and the buzzer sounds.

The 'click' type range encompasses micrometer adjustable or production type pre-set torque wrenches both with the option for a fixed ratchet, with a quick release pin, or interchangeable head.

The torque range is up to 340 NM, with 3% accuracy.

Pre-set production screwdrivers are also accurate to within 3% and cover a range of torques from 4 NcM up to 450 NcM with four different models.

Micrometer adjustable type screwdrivers cover a range up to 450 NcM with three different models.

Mechanical Torque Testers come in three versions covering the 0-1000 ft.lbs torque range.
