Crane Electronics' range of CheckStar rotary transducers has long been a market leading product for the dynamic torque and angle measurement of all continuous drive and impulse tools.
These transducers have provided reliable performance in applications throughout all sectors of industry.
The company has now released a new technical datasheet that provides comprehensive information on the physical attributes and application of all CheckStars.
It is essential for all companies that intend to specify new transducers to fit "inline" between the assembly tool and the fastener.
CheckStars measure the actual torque applied and the angular rotation of the fastener under production conditions.
Its patented contact system ensures that a connection is always maintained between the readout and the strain gauges; thus reliable readings are always provided even under vibration and shock conditions.
In short, "no brush bounce" is guaranteed.
CheckStars can be used as part of a Crane UTA torque system, enabling plug and play operation with Crane readout devices.
