Cressall has named a specialist in the drive industry as the first UK distributor for its dynamic braking resistors.

Cressall has named a specialist in the drive industry as the first UK distributor for its dynamic braking resistors Chosen because of strong relationships with leading inverter companies, Hull-based CP Group can precisely match a customer's drive requirements with the right Cressall DBRs to ensure optimum performance

Initially focusing on the elevator industry, CP Group can also offer advice on most other drive/DBR applications.

The resistors are available in standard power ratings and enclosure sizes to accommodate the majority of common applications and duty cycles.

CP Group's engineers can offer expert advice on sizing and specification, and in many cases, units can be dispatched directly from stock.

Cressall DBRs are supplied in modular enclosures, allowing multiple units to be connected together to achieve high power ratings.

Resistors can also be supplied without enclosures for direct incorporation into control equipment.
