Cressall, the specialist manufacturer of packaged dynamic braking resistors, now offers its technology to designers of inverters and other motion control equipment in component form.

The new 500CC resistor range dissipates 500W of power continuously, and many times more when used for short-term pulse or intermittent duty-cycle applications.

These resistors operate in near silence, making them suitable for use within equipment installed in entertainment, commercial, retail and office environments.

Power ratings are achieved without the expense of supplementary heatsinks.

Coils from the 500CC range also have the benefit of low inductance, making them suitable for use in high frequency designs.

The range includes a selection of mounting and connection accessories that allow the designer to conveniently integrate single or multiple coils within equipment.
