ServoTube and Xenus, a high-performance multiposition linear actuation solution, now features DeviceNet connectivity, which permits easy, seamless integration into PLC-based control systems.

Available as both linear motors and linear actuators, ServoTube positioners provide fast, clean, quiet-running actuation at low cost.

ServoTube direct drive electromagnetic technology produces drive force to 1868N, and superior speed (8.7m/s) and acceleration (5.8m/s2).

A patented magnetic design raises resolution and accuracy of Hall sensing technology, enabling ServoTube's integral solid-state position sensors to provide 12um repeatability.

The ServoTube moving rod linear actuator has internal lubricant-free bearings and meets IP67 ruggedness qualifications, which bring foodsafe and washdown advantages.

A high rigidity version can be supplied and an optional holding brake is available.

Compatibility with a wide range of industry standard mounting accessories facilitates simple drop-in pneumatic cylinder replacement.

The ServoTube linear motor has similar specifications and mounts the load onto the traveling forcer.

Multiple forcers can be mounted for independent load/unload actions or to double or triple drive force.

Both motor and actuator are based on a thermally efficient design that eliminates the need for forced air cooling - and no compressed air supply or compressor required either.

DeviceNet connectivity enables Xenus controllers to integrate ServoTube linear actuators and linear motor into PLC-based automation.

Tasks include placing, filling, transferring, gluing and shearing actions, for packaging, assembly, materials handling and similar systems.
