To enhance the service and support available to its users and OEMs, Crouzet has appointed Camis Group as a UK specialist distributor of its extensive range of small motors and associated gearboxes.
To enhance the service and support available to its users and OEMs, Crouzet has appointed Camis Group as a UK specialist distributor of its extensive range of small motors and associated gearboxes.
Commenting on the announcement, Martin Hyde, Marketing Manager for Crouzet, said, "This partnership means an enhanced level of service and support for motor users, who will be able to have Crouzet motors and gearboxes configured locally.
The Camis offer includes supplying adapted products, control systems and even complete products and assemblies if required.
This is part of our strategy to bring Crouzet technological knowhow closer to our customers".
The Camis Group will cover the Midlands area from its centrally located offices based near Stourbridge in the West Midlands.
Camis has a wealth of knowledge and experience in electrical/electronic products and control systems, gained over 30 years designing and building industrial automation systems for a wide range of manufacturing industries.
Camis engineers have been fully trained on the complete range of Crouzet motors and have the knowledge and specialist equipment to carry out a range of customising operations including the fitting of gearboxes and connector assemblies.
Bob Brookes, Managing Director of Camis Group is equally enthusiastic about the partnership.
He said, "We see this as a key appointment because of the rapid growth in the market for small motors.
Camis has worked with Crouzet for a number of years now and this is reflected in our status as a 'centre of excellence' for the innovative Millenium II logic controller.
Our wide experience in engineering factory automation systems backed up by our design and manufacturing facilities makes us the ideal company to carry out this work".
As well as being a specialist distributor of electrical and electronic components, Camis offers a number of value add services including the manufacture of wiring looms, system assembly, precision sheet metal fabrications and the development of the hardware and software for microprocessor based control systems.
The industries covered include transport, factory safety, catering equipment, water treatment plants, materials handling and heating and ventilating.
The appointment of Camis Group means that users and OEMs will have fast access to Crouzet's extensive range of small motors with the added benefit of local service and support from one of the best-equipped and knowledgeable distributors in the industry.
