Crouzet has released a level control starter kit for its Millenium II plus logic controller.

Crouzet has released a level control starter kit for its Millenium II plus logic controller.

Users can now detect and accurately control liquid levels while benefiting from the flexibility and programming options of Crouzet's powerful logic hardware.

Competitively priced, the comprehensive package is suitable for a wide range of applications involving level control.

The new version of the versatile Millenium II plus can cope with the most demanding environments and is ideal for the food, water treatment and agricultural industries for applications ranging from bore tank control for irrigation to checking the content of milk containers in dairies.

Particularly suited for use in remote locations, it features an optional GSM modem that enables the controller to send text messages to mobile phones and allows it to be interrogated via a telephone dial-up link.

Controllers are available separately and packaged as a starter kit, each consisting of a special 24V AC level control version of the Millenium II plus controller with eight inputs and four relay outputs, easy-to-use programming software, connecting lead and four probes that can be positioned up to a 100m away from the base unit.

The presence of liquid allows current to flow between a pair of probes, enabling each unit to monitor up to four liquid levels or detect the presence of liquid in a pipe.

The kit can also be set up to detect overspill or leakage and set off an alarm.

A key feature of the Millenium II plus is the pump rotation block, an innovative way of ensuring the longevity and reliability of equipment.

Up to four pumps can now be operated in sequence, the device intelligently rotating each pump so that they all get the same level of use and no single part gets worn or damaged.

Rather than buying a dedicated control relay and working through the control panel users can now set the logic sequence directly through the Millenium II and easily make changes with no rewiring.

Installing and configuring the Millenium II plus is simple - the programming software fully compatible with Windows 98, NT, XP and 2000.

All the new features offered with the enhanced version are also backward compatible with existing Millenium II controllers.

Crouzet's specially designed unit combines the power of the Millenium II plus with the accuracy and reliability needed for any application requiring level control.

Its range of features and the flexibility offered by the powerful logic controller mean that the comprehensive package is an essential tool, taking the Millenium II plus to the next level.
