Relays tolerate industrial environments
Crouzet's new GN3 series three-phase and motor reversing solid-state relays suit a wide array of three-phase motor and heating applications.
Logic controller monitors pressures
The Millenium 3 logic controller is available in 24V DC, compact or expandable versions.
Available with or without an integrated reduction gearbox, Motomate provides a motor solution that has fewer components, requires less space and significantly reduces installation time.
Traditionally, movement control has been achieved with a combination of individual components, for example, electric motor, logic controller, limit switches, timers, etc.
but now all of these products are replaced by the single Motomate unit.
The low maintenance DC motor gives an exceptional life of over 20kh, and the brushless design substantially reduces mechanical and electrical noise.
The optional gearbox can be specified with an inline or right-angled output shaft to suit a range of applications.
The integrated programmable motor control provides simple positioning and allows precise power delivery from the motor, including ramp up to overcome the inertia of the load, close control of running speed and ramping down of the motor power for smooth operation of doors or barriers.
Installation is easy and since there is no interconnecting wiring to other devices, commissioning is quick and simple.
Control and sequencing programs can be quickly downloaded into the built in controller using a laptop and program changes can be made from a remote location and e-mailed to site saving travel time and expenses.
Maintenance is minimised and in the event of a replacement unit being required, there is just one unit to install with the logic program being quickly downloaded into the new device.
Available rated at either 30 or 80W, Motomate is ideal for applications such as automatic doors, moving billboards, robotics, conveyor systems, security barriers and lift doors.
The inputs and outputs on the controller allow additional sensors or actuators to be connected making the unit suitable for a wide range of more complex systems.
With the introduction of Motomate, Crouzet has created a unit that is easy to program, quick to install and offers a complete solution to a wide range of control applications across industry and commerce.
