Control relays monitor equipment

A Crouzet product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 21, 2007

Crouzet's C-Lynx control relays can detect and inform the user of abnormal operating conditions of an electrical or physical value.

Crouzet is launching a new range of C-Lynx control relays.

The control relay is a component that can detect and inform the user of abnormal operating conditions of an electrical or physical value (voltage, current, phase, level) in equipment and thus initiate the necessary corrective actions or maintenance operations to avoid any production stoppage.

If an anomaly is detected, the C-Lynx control relay indicates it visually via an LED and stops the machine operating, in order to avoid serious and costly breakdowns.

The control relay therefore ensures total availability of equipment by optimising the continuity of service.

The C-Lynx range of control is suited to applications such as the supervision of motors; temperature control in lift machine rooms; speed monitoring of conveyor belts; air conditioning and extraction; as well as pump and level control.

Built-in multi-voltage power supplies reduce wiring time.

The C-Lynx range can be customised to meet customers' specific specifications.

Crouzet has chosen to create the "Custom'able" label as a guarantee of its technical and industrial expertise, its company philosophy and a promise that its products are perfectly adapted.
