The Bernstein Globaline range of inductive sensors is now available through Camis Components.

Inductive sensors are contactless and wear-resistant.

They switch quickly without rebounding and are very durable, working on the principles of induction where a current will be induced into a metallic object by an oscillating electric field.

The presence of the metallic object (or not) can be used to make the system behave as a contactless switch, or as a contactless displacement sensor.

This contactless nature makes the sensor insensitive to the effects of harsh conditions, for example wet and dirty environments.

Bernstein has been manufacturing these types of sensors, among others, for many years, but a new pricing strategy makes the Globaline range exceptional value for money.

The range has connector and cable variants for M8, M12, M18 and M30 sizes.

They have either PNP or NPN outputs, all versions featuring reverse polarity, overload protection and LED indication.

The robust metal housings are rated to IP67 for both cable and connector versions.
