A new concept for the UK calibration and test industry, the Calibration Trade Centre is a web portal for all involved with calibration and test equipment or services.
Established from seven years experience of supplying traceable and UKAS calibration services across many industries, CTCentre has assembled their expertise and services into one extensive website, detailing the specialist services available to many different industries.
Initially the used equipment offered for sale was derived from ex-hire calibration equipment offered for disposal by the Calibration Trade Centre itself, but this has been expanded and opened to any party involved in such equipment.
There is no fee involved in either advertising, viewing or buying the equipment advertised.
To participate, equipment details, including instrument type, model, brief description, and selling price proposed, can be submitted by fax or e-mail.
Any sales made via the site are subject to a fee of ten percent of selling price to the Calibration Trade Centre.
The service also extends to allowing "wanted" advertisements for test and calibration equipment: this is also available to companies wishing to advertise their requirements for outsourced calibration services, an ideal and novel approach to requesting quotations from across the industry.
